- This should be the delivery location at start. There is no requirement for providers to update this information if the learner's delivery location changes.
- For learners undertaking HE learning where the majority of learning takes place in the workplace, the postcode of the HE centre (or college) should be recorded in the HE centre location postcode field in the Learning Delivery HE entity.

This should be based on where the learner undertakes the learning, for example if a tutor is on-site at a provider’s campus delivering provision to learners who are logged on from home, the distance learning postcode should be used.
- You should NOT use a learner’s home postcode as the delivery location postcode to indicate that the learning aim being delivered by distance learning.
- All provision delivered face to face should have a valid postcode, whether it is the provider’s site postcode or the postcode of another location where the provision is being delivered. The ZZ99 9ZZ postcode should only be used where the majority or all of the learning is being delivered remotely.
- This should be the delivery location at start. There is no requirement for providers to update this information if the learner's delivery location changes.
