Intent

This rule ensures that there is an employment status record of employed for an apprentice who is funded via the levy

Guidance

Ensure that an employment status of 10 is added to the learners ILR file, if the apprentice is not employed then they are not valid for funding

Description

If an apprenticeship programme is funded through a contract for services with an employer the learner must have an employment status of 'Employed'

Detailed description

If an apprenticeship programme is funded ( LearningDelivery.FundModel = 36) through a contract for services with an employer (LearnDelFAMType = ACT and LearnDelFAMCode = 1), the learner must have an employment status of 'Employed'

(error where if the LearnerEmploymentStatus.EmpStat (applicable on LearnDelFAMDateFrom ) <> 10)

Exclusions

Restarts (LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = RES)
Learner has been made redundant (EmploymentStatusMonitoring.ESMType = OET and EmploymentStatusMonitoring.ESMCode = 1) on the latest LearnerEmploymentStatus.DateEmpStatApp
