This rule ensures that the learning aim recorded is valid on the original learning start date for Adult Skills fund funded learners.

Guidance

Ch eck the LARS database to ensure that the learning aim is valid for adult Skills fund learners on the original learning start date recorded in the ILR.

If the Original learning start date is returned), and the aim is Adult Skills Fund funded , then the Original learning start date must be between the validity start date and end date in the LARS database for this learning aim

If the Original learning start date is returned (LearningDelivery.OrigLearnStartDate is known), and the aim is Adult Skills Fund funded (LearningDelivery.FundModel = 38), then the Original learning start date must be between the validity start date and end date in the LARS database for this learning aim

(error where LearningDelivery.OrigLearnStartDate is returned
and LearningDelivery.FundModel = 38 and there is no record where LearningDelivery.OrigLearnStartDate is between LARS_StartDate and LARS_EndDate in the LARS_Validity table where (LearningDelivery.LearnAimRef = LARS_LearnAimRef and LARS_ValidityCategory = ADULT_SKILLS)
Exclusions

This rule is not triggered by: Level 3 Free Courses for Jobs (LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 378)
