Guidance	Ensure that, for starts on or after 1 August 2024 (that are not Restarts) where the aim is funded through the Adult Skills Fund funding model and is a level 3 aim, the learning aim start date must not be before the validity start date or be after the last date for new starts for the corresponding validity category in the Validity table in the LARS database, as shown through the FALA service
Description	For new starts on or after 1 August 2024 and is Adult Skills Fund funded then the learning aim start date must not be before the validity start date or be after the last date for new starts (unless the restart indicator is present) for the corresponding validity category in the Validity table in the LARS database

Detailed description	For new starts on or after 1 August 2024 and is Adult Skills Fund funded then the learning aim start date must not be before the validity start date or be after the last date for new starts (unless the restart indicator is present) for the corresponding validity category in the Validity table in the LARS database. (error where LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2024-08-01 and LearningDelivery.FundModel = 38 and ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate < LARS_StartDate in the LARS Validity table or ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate > LARS_LastNewStartDate in the LARS_Validity table and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFamType = RES does not exist)) where ( LearningDelivery.LearnAimRef = LARS_LearnAimRef and LARS_ValidityCategory = ADULT_SKILLS))
Exclusions	This rule excludes: Combined authorities (DD35 = Y) Level 3 Free Courses for Jobs ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 378) or Project S Pilot for Adult Skills Fund Providers ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 395)
