To ensure that only aims valid for Adult Skills Fund funding are recorded

Guidance

Ensure that, for starts on or after 1 August 2024 and the learning aim is funded through the Adult Skills Fund funding model, the aim must not be a level 4 aim, as shown through the FALA service

Description

For starts on or after 1 August 2024, and the learning aim is funded through the Adult Skills Fund funding model, then the aim must not be a level 4 aim

Detailed description

For starts on or after 1 August 2024 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2024-08-01), and the learning aim is funded through the Adult Skills Fund funding model ( LearningDelivery.FundModel = 38), then the aim must not be a level 4 aim

(error where ( LearningDelivery.LearnAimRef = LARS_LearnAimRef) and LARS_NotionalNVQLevelv2 = 4)

Exclusions

This rule is not triggered by: Full funding for learners in devolved areas ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = DAM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 023)
