To ensure that only valid postcodes are used for Adult skills funded or Tailored learning funded aims

Guidance

Ensure that, for starts on or after 1 August 2024, that are adult skills or Community Learning funded, the Learning start date postcode is valid on the list of complete UK postcodes table

Description

For starts on or after 1 August 2024, are Adult Skills Fund or Tailored Learning funded, the Learning start date postcode must be returned and be a valid postcode on the list of complete UK postcodes table

Detailed description

For starts on or after 1 August 2024 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2024-08-01), are Adult Skills Fund or Tailored Learning funded ( LearningDelivery.Fundmodel = 38 or LearningDelivery.Fundmodel = 11), the Learning start date postcode ( LearningDelivery.LSDPostcode ) must be returned and be a valid postcode on the list of complete UK postcodes table

(error where LearningDelivery.LSDPostcode <> (a valid lookup on Postcodes.PostcodeValidity)

Exclusions

This rule is not triggered where LearningDelivery.LSDPostcode = ZZ99 9ZZ or are programme component aims ( LearningDelivery.Aimtype = 3)
