To ensure that only valid postcodes are used for adult skills or Community Learning funded aims

Guidance

Ensure that, for starts on or after 1 August 2019 and before 1 August 2024, that are adult skills or Community Learning funded, the Learning start date postcode is returned, and that it is a valid postcode on the AEB/ASF table of UK postcodes

Description

For starts on or after 1 August 2019 and on or prior to 31 July 2024, that are adult skills or Community Learning funded, the Learning start date postcode must be returned and be a valid postcode on the list of complete UK postcodes table

Detailed error condition
Detailed description

For starts on or after 1 August 2019 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate => 2019-08-01) and on or prior to 31 July 2024 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate <= 2024-07-31), are adult skills or Community Learning funded ( LearningDelivery.Fundmodel = 35 or LearningDelivery.Fundmodel = 10), the Learning start date postcode ( LearningDelivery.LSDPostcode ) must be returned and be a valid postcode on the list of complete UK postcodes table

(error where LearningDelivery.LSDPostcode <> (a valid lookup on Postcodes.PostcodeValidity)

Exclusions

This rule is not triggered where LearningDelivery.LSDPostcode = ZZ99 9ZZ or aims that are part of a traineeship ( LearningDelivery.ProgType = 24) or apprenticeship frameworks (DD07 = Y) or are programme component aims ( LearningDelivery.Aimtype = 3)
