To ensure that learners starting aims on or after 1 August 2025 who are 16 or over must have a planned duration of 242 days

Guidance

Ensure that, for aims starting on or after 1 August 2025, where the learner is 16 or over at the start of the aim, the duration between the learners start and planned end date must be 242 days

Description

For aims starting on or after 1 August 2025 apprenticeship learners who are 16 and over must have a planned duration of over 242 days between the learners start and planned end date

Detailed description

For aims starting on or after 1 August 2025 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2025-08-01), that are an apprenticeship standard ( LearningDelivery.FundModel = 36 and LearningDelivery.ProgType = 25), and a programme aim ( LearningDelivery.AimType = 1), and if the learner is 16 or over ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate - Learner.DateOfBirth >= 16 year), then the planned duration of the apprenticeship must be 242 days or more

(error where LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate - LearningDelivery.LearnPlanEndDate < 242 days)
Exclusions

This rule is not not triggered by aims that are a restart ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = RES)
