Intent

This rule ensures learners who have a prior attainment of full level 3 or above, who have the free courses for jobs LDM code recorded are unemployed or a low wage learner

Guidance

Ensure that if the LDM code 382 is returned for learners who have a full level 3 prior attainment and is studying an applicable programme, they are unemployed or valid for Low wage provision

Description

For starts on or after 1st April 2022 and on or prior to 31 July 2024 if the learner's Prior Attainment is full level 3 or above and the 'Level 3 Free Courses for Jobs' Learning Delivery Monitoring code has been returned then the learner must be unemployed on benefits or be a Free Courses for Jobs (Level 3 Offer) Low Wage Learner using LDM 382

Detailed description

For starts on or after 1st April 2022 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2022-04-01), and on or prior to 31 July 2024 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate =< 2024-07-31) if the learner's Prior Attainment is full level 3 or above ( PriorAttain.PriorLeve l = 6,7,8,9,10, 97 or 98) and the 'Level 3 Free Courses for Jobs' Learning Delivery Monitoring code has been returned ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 378) then the learner must be unemployed on benefits or be a Free Courses for Jobs (Level 3 Offer) Low Wage Learner
