Intent

To ensure that a Learning Delivery HE record is not returned, except where necessary, for framework apprenticeships

Guidance

Ensure that, where the learning aim is part of a Higher apprenticeship, and prescribed HE in the LARS database, and delivered by a college or grant funded provider and the UKPRN is a valid lookup on the Office for Students register, the Learning Delivery HE record must be returned; unless the aim record is generated by HESA or where the organisation is an UHEO

Description

If the learning aim is part of a Higher apprenticeship, and prescribed HE in the LARS database, and delivered by a college or grant funded provider and the UKPRN is a valid lookup on the Office for Students register, then the Learning Delivery HE record must be returned

Detailed error condition
Detailed description

If the learning aim is part of a Higher apprenticeship ( LearningDelivery.ProgType = 25), and prescribed HE in the LARS database (LARS_EnglPrscID = 1 or 2 (where LearningDelivery.LearnAimRef = LARS_LearnAimRef)), and delivered by a college or grant funded provider (DD27 = Y) and the UKPRN is a valid lookup on the Office for Students register ( LearningProvider.UKPRN = UKPRN.OfSProviders) then the Learning Delivery HE record must be returned

(error where LearningDelivery.LearningDeliveryHE is unknown)

Exclusions

This rule is not triggered by records generated by HESA ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 352), or by records where LearningProvider.UKPRN = ORG_UKPRNS and LegalOrgType = UHEO
