Intent

To ensure that aim starts on or after 1 August 2024 that are Adult Skills Fund funded, where the learner is aged between 19 -23 at the start of the aim, are recorded correctly

Guidance

Ensure that, where the aim start is on or after 1 August 2024 and is Adult Skills Fund funded, and where the learner is aged between 19 -23 at the start of the aim, and has a prior attainment of level 2 or above, full funding is not claimed where the learner is not earning below the earnings threshold and the LARS aim learning delivery category is 37

Description

For starts on or after 1 August 2024 and are Adult Skills Fund funded, and where learning delivery category is 37 for learners aged between 19 -23 at the start of the aim, and has a prior attainment of level 2 or above, full funding cannot be claimed if the learner is not earning below the earnings threshold

Detailed description

For starts on or after 1 August 2024 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2024-08-01) and are Adult Skills Fund funded ( LearningDelivery.FundModel = 38), and where learning delivery category is 37 for learners aged between 19 -23 at the start of the aim (( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate - Learner.DateOfBirth ) >= 19 years and <=23 years), and has a prior attainment of level 2 or above ( PriorAttain.PriorLevel = 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 97 or 98), full funding cannot be claimed if the learner is not earning below the earnings threshold

(error where LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = FFI and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 1) and there is no record of (error where LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 391 on the same learning aim)

This rule is not triggered for: Restarts ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = RES)
