To ensure that learners starting aims on or after 1 August 2024, where the learner is 24 or over at the start of the aim, where the aim is level 3 or above, then the Funding model cannot be Adult skills fund

Guidance

Ensure that, for aims starting on or after 1 August 2024, where the learner is 24 or over at the start of the aim, where the aim is level 3 or above, then the Funding model must not be Adult skills fund

Description

For aims starting on or after 1 August 2024, where the learner is 24 or over at the start of the aim and the notional NVQ level of the aim is level 3 or above, then the Funding model must not be Adult skills fund

Detailed description

If the learning aim started on or after 1 August 2024 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2024-08-01) and the learner is 24 or over at the start of the aim ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate - Learner.DateOfBirth >= 24 years) and the notional NVQ level of the aim is level 3 or above (LARS_NotionalNVQLevel_v2 = 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or = H), then the Funding model must not be Adult Skills Fund

(error where LearningDelivery.FundModel = 38)

Exclusions

This rule is not triggered by Restarts ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMTyp = RES)

A Levels (LARS_LearnAimRefType = '0002', '1413', '1430', '1431' and '1453'(where LearningDelivery.LearnAimRef = LARS_LearnAimRef))

Full funding for learners in devolved areas ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = DAM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 023)

Level 3 Free Courses for Jobs ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 378)

Project S Pilot for Adult Skills Fund Providers ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 395)
