Definition
Indicates an event has occurred during the learning.
Reason Required
To calculate funding which is fully or partly dependent on events during a learning aim, for example milestones during a skills bootcamp programme.

Use this Learning and Delivery Funding and Monitoring type and code to indicate the event has occurred.

The Learning Delivery Funding and Monitoring Date applies from field must also be completed. Use this field to record the date the event took place.

The Learning Delivery Funding and Monitoring Date applies to field must not be completed.

For HGV Part 3b of the driver certificate of professional competence: On-Road Driving, record the following for the following scenarios:

When the learner passes HGV Part 3b on their first attempt, record EVI 10 only.

When the learner passes HGV Part 3b on second attempt, record EVI 9 on their first attempt, then record EVI 10 on their second attempt.

When the learner passes HGV Part 3b on their third or subsequent attempt, record EVI 9 for the first attempt and then EVI 10 when they pass the test on their final attempt. There is no requirement to record an event indicator on the second or later attempts where they failed the test.

When the learner attempts HGV 3b but ultimately never passes the test, record EVI 9 for their first test attempt.
