Accessing ILR Data for Local Authorities
Local Authoritie s may apply for access to National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) data via the ILR to help fulfil statutory responsibilities for:

Young people aged 16–18

Young people aged 16–25 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
This data enables LAs to:
-
Promote engagement in education, training, and employment

Track and support young people not currently participating
-
Monitor progress and participation
-
Identify individuals needing additional support

Provide tailored guidance and connect young people with opportunities
The Department for Education (DfE) offers ILR data through two release schedules:

Monthly Release
These are distributed according to the official monthly timetable .
