Intent

To ensure that learners who started an FM = 35 aim, that is level 3 or above, are not funded by Adult skills funding

Guidance

Ensure that, for aims starting on or after 1 August 2016 and on or before 31 July 2017, where the learner is 24 or over at the start of the aim is level 3 or above, the Funding model must not be Adult skills

Description

For aims starting on or after 1 August 2016 and on or before 31 July 2017, where the learner is 24 or over at the start of the aim and the notional NVQ level of the aim is level 3 or above, then the Funding model must not be Adult skills

Detailed error condition
Detailed description

For aims starting on or after 1 August 2016 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate >= 2016-08-01) and on or before 31 July 2017 ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate <= 2017-07-31), and the learner is 24 or over at the start of the aim ( LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate - Learner.DateOfBirth >= 24 years) and the notional NVQ level of the aim is level 3 or above (LARS_NotionalNVQLevel_v2 = 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or = H), then the Funding model must not be Adult skills

(error where LearningDelivery.FundModel = 35)

Exclusions

This rule is not trigged by apprenticeships (DD07 = Y),
OLASS learners ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 034),
Restarts ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = RES),
Trade union aims (LARS_LearningDeliveryCategory.CategoryRef = 19), or
or by providers with an organisation type of Specialist Designated College ( LearningProvider.UKPRN = Org_Details.UKPRN and LegalOrgType = USDC),
Steel Industries Redundancy Training ( LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMType = LDM and LearningDeliveryFAM.LearnDelFAMCode = 347)
